CEITEC’s vehicle identification chip is a passive integrated circuit (it does not require a battery to operate). It is embedded in tags affixed to vehicle windshields. The chip securely stores encrypted vehicle identification data and uses a secure communication protocol that enables automatic payments at toll booths, free-flow toll roads, parking facilities, partner gas stations, and other establishments.
